The movie cut out and a commercial began to play. Sally looked over at Daniel
and found his gray eyes gazing back at her, the corners of his mouth barely holding a smile.
He blinked when he realized she was looking back.
"What?" she asked quietly, a curious expression showed on the face that he
had been studying.
"I was just thinking," he shrugged, turning back to the television.
"Care to tell me about it?" she asked trying her best to look trustworthy.
He grinned, trying not to let her get to him.
"I don't think so." His voice was slow and sounded like a taunt.
"Is that a challenge?" She cocked an eyebrow at the man sitting next to her.
He tried not to smile, and turned his face away from her in order to keep his
upward turning lips from her view. He heard her shuffle on the couch, then felt
her place her chin on his shoulder. Knowing she would be sporting her pleading
look could make him do anything he bit his bottom lip and refused to look at her.
When he didn't turn, she pursed her lips and let little wisps of air escape
from her mouth and invade his ear. Daniel shivered.
Sally smiled as she scooted closer, running her left hand along the back of
the couch as she kneeled beside her boyfriend. Placing her lips just millimeters
away from his ear she whispered, "Are you sure you don't want to tell me willingly?"
Daniel turned toward her and looked up into her eyes. "My lips are sealed."
Sally smirked, "We'll just see about that."
She leaned down and placed her lips on his. They both breathed in the
kiss, and Sally slid her tongue into his willing mouth. Placing her hands on
his shoulders she turned him parallel to the couch and gently pushed him back onto it, laying her body on top of his. His arms enveloped her, pulling her closer. Breaking the kiss, she looked into his
pleased eyes.
"So, what were you thinking?" she asked quietly.
He shrugged slightly as a shy grin graced his face, "Just... that I love you."
Sally smiled and kissed him once more. Then
she laid her head upon his chest as the movie came back on.
