Confronting Techno (Cut Scene)

Due to the large amounts of snow that suffocated the town of Tequila Heights, classes had been canceled for the week.  Techno sipped silently from his coffee cup as Sally entered the kitchen.  He could feel her contempt for him radiating off her like a hot stove.

"Quit being so childish about this," he said over his mug.

Sally took down the box of Lucky Charms.  "Techno, we knew where they were, we had proof of their operations, we could have taken them down so easily."  She poured her Lucky Charms into a glass, and then filled another with milk.

"We made a deal, we have to stick with it.  He did keep his end of the bargain."

"And it's stuck in the ground." She gestured out the window.  "Not to mention I was attacked and imprisoned and led to believe I was going to die if I didn't participate in his little game at the end of which, I had to throw myself out a ten story window."

"You survived, didn't you?" he cocked his eyebrow at her.  "And you accomplished the mission."

"The sword is stuck in the ground!" she gestured again.

"Yes, and buried in snow, where no one can get it. The world is safe once again thanks to The Others, now give it a rest."

Sally took a swig of her Lucky Charms and chewed the crunchy cereal in a tense quiet.

"Can you just tell me why you don't want to go get these guys?" she asked quietly.

Techno's eye glanced up at her across the table.  "Sometimes," he said calmly.  "You have to loose the battle to win the war."

Although she knew Techno's profound words were true, she didn't think it an appropriate answer.

"Damn it, Techno," she stood from the table. "If this is a war, we should be ambushing now, while we know where they are, while they're all still together.  What are we doing just sitting around for?"  Techno turned his attention back to his coffee, a scowl on his face.  "C'mon, what they're up to is against every thing we fight for: that makes them the enemy.  Why can't you see that? Are you taking their side?"

"That is enough!" Techno burst, slamming his mug onto the table and peppering it with coffee.  "They know we know where they are now!  They'll be expecting an attack!  We have to wait for this to blow over.  Think of everyone else's safety for once besides your foolish pride and thirst for revenge.  Use your god damn head!" He marched out of the kitchen leaving a stunned Sally standing quite still.

Use my head.

Tonya's and Sally's Plan (Cut Scene)

"We should at least stake the place out," Tonya agreed.  "See what kind of extra security they added, what defenses they might use, be able to anticipate their next move and be ready when they make it, if they haven't already."

"You know I'm all for it," Sally replied.  "But Techno thinks he knows what he's doing."  They were silent for a moment.  "Maybe he read what was on that disk."

"You think it had all their plans on it?"  Tonya cocked an eyebrow.  "That sounds kind of stupid to me. Besides, remember how we got that disk?  Why would he have gone to such great lengths to steal info from his own Agency?"

"I'm not sure.  Maybe Techno made a copy of that disk.  I'd sure like to know what was on it."

The braided girl gave a sly grin.  "I might know a way to find out."

The next morning Sally was walking down the hall to breakfast when Tonya snuck out of Zarbon's room.  Upon seeing her blonde roommate, Tonya gave a guilty grin.  "Well, I think I have the information we're looking for."

"Zarbon was watching the whole thing?" Sally asked as the two went over the details. "Did he tell you what it said?"

"No, he had just glanced over T's shoulder a couple of times.  All he really remembered was the logo of a blazing earth and a table of contents about a blade, flowers, and ice or something like that."  Tonya cocked her head at Sally's expression.  "What?"

"That sounds like the disk Daniel had," she offered.

"Daniel had a disk with SECRET stuff on it?" Tonya asked astonished.  "What would he be doing with that?"

Sally shrugged.  "Have Zarbon meet us up in your room after lunch."

It All Comes Together (Cut Scene)

As they reconvened in Tonyas study, Sally popped the disk into Tonya's computer.

"I found this disk with the stuff I sent Daniel.  He received it from a man that I saw at the SECRET headquarters."

"Don't you think he'll miss it?" Zarbon asked.

"As a curious and resourceful girlfriend, I made a copy." Sally grinned.  The screen finally displayed the main SECRET page and Sally turned to Zarbon.  "Is this what you say on The Face's disk?"  Zarbon nodded his recognition.  "Do you remember any of the headings T searched?"

"I do think he actually went through them all," Zarbon said, hoping the girls wouldn't want him to stick around as they did the same.  Techno had been at the computer for long continuous hours that day.

"It'll take forever," Tonya said, eyeing the long heading list.

"Maybe if we performed a search for the newest material or anything mentioning The Face," Sally suggested as she sat down at the computer.  Rick had easily explained to her the codes used to do just what she wanted, and her fingers flew over the keyboard as she whipped up the commands on the spot.

In a few minutes she had every report on the disk containing The Face in chronological order.

"Well, at least now there are only one hundred forty-two."

They began to pour over the information.

"He's mentioned a lot in this one particular ploy: Operation Flower Power," Tonya commented, scanning titles of the search results.

"That sounds familiar," Sally said straining to think as she rubbed her tired eyes.

"Sounds like something Lucy would say."  She glanced over at Sally.  "Well, what else was familiar or seemed strange."

"Well, at SECRET headquarters I saw Daft. That's it! Daft!"  Sally looked at Tonya. "The first time I saw him was at the hospital when Daniel's dad had his heart attack.  And Daniel said something about Flower Power, too."

"Then let's start there," Tonya chirped.

They read in silence as Sally scrolled down the screen.

"Woa," Tonya commented. "This is about that poisonous plant."

"Yeah, the yellow-stemmed three-leaved fern rose," Sally quipped.

"It says here they planned to use it on 'members of prominent position throughout the globe.'  I don't see why Techno won't let us turn them in."  Tonya's look turned into disgust.

"Of course!" She cried out.  "The fern rose!" She smacked her head with a hand.  "Duh!!"  She turned to Tonya.  "Remember how I told you that boy in the picture with Daniel seemed familiar to me?  It was the same boy from Daniel's botany book, the creator of the fern rose.  And come to think of it, that book was in the box I sent to him, also."

"So Daniel knew the creator of the fern rose?" Tonya cocked an eyebrow.

"Not only was he the creator of the plant, but also The Face's brother."

"How'd you figure that one out?"

"Well, he looked alot like him. Plus, F-A-C-E were his initials."

Tonya thought for a moment. "So he didn't want anyone else to die like his brother, so he gives the poison to us," the brunette deducted.  "But if he knew SECRET does such evil things, and he still has a conscience, why is he still with them?"

"Perhaps he's biding his time in order to seek revenge, or perhaps he doesn't know how to leave.  Or maybe that's why he needed the disk, as blackmail for his freedom or to find a loophole for escape.  Plus, before I was pushed out the window, it seemed like he was going to jump with me."

"Sounds complicated to me," Bowie said as he padded into the room. He looked up at them.  "Dinner's ready."

Strength (Out take)

"Grab the sword and let's go inside," Jed complained.  "It's starting to snow pretty heavily."  She looked up at the sky.

Tonya grabbed the sword and pulled, but it remained fast in the ground.  She growled at it, and used more muscle to try and loosen it.  Suddenly it snapped at the hilt and the girl tumbled down into the snow, landing hard on her rump.

CUT

The girls gawked in surprise.

Tonya looked down at the handle in her hand. "Guess I'm stonger than I thought," she quipped, blowing the bangs out of her eyes.

Oops (Outtake)

As she began to fall, she also realized there was no dumpster. Trying to concentrate, her mind ached to try and slow her decent, but it wouldn't work.  She panicked and began to claw at the air, trying to right herself vertically.  Finally she just closed her eyes, waiting to feel the impact of the ground.  Suddenly she found herself in strong arms.

"You should leave flying to those of us who can," said a reassuring voice with a familiar accent.  She opened her eyes and confirmed her assumption, as she looked up into the golden eyes.  But the wetness of her clothes began to have an effect on the his grip and she slipped from his arms.

"I didn't know you could fly," said a reassuring voice with a familiar accent.  She opened her eyes and confirmed her assumption, as she looked up into the golden eyes.

"That wasn't flying, that was falling with style."  CUT  "Sorry, I had to say it, it was the perfect set up."

You're Wet (Outtake)
Azure set Abra down next to the conference table.

Tygeress can running up to her, throwing her arms around her missing friend.  Then she backed away.

"You're wet," she stated.

"Yes, I was taking a shower."

It's A Date (Outtake)

Take 1

"Hey Sally."

The girl looked up from her notebook as she heard her name being called.

"Mind if I sit next to you?" asked Rick.  They were in the large lecture hall again.

"Uh... sure." She scooted her books over to make room for him.

"Nice noodle you got there," he said, smirking as he eyed her notebook.

"Oh," she blushed slightly, "it's nothing.  Just.." she began to giggle. "Just a noodle."

TAKE 2

"Hey Sally."

The girl looked up from her notebook as she heard her name being called.

"Mind if I sit next to you?" asked Rick.  They were in the large lecture hall again.

"Uh... sure." She scooted her books over to make room for him.

"Nice doodle you got there," he said, smirking as he eyed her notebook.

"Oh," she blushed slightly, "it's nothing.  Just waiting for class to start.  I always tend to be early."

"Have you looked at the homework for our class yet?" he asked as he sat down and took out his notes.

"Not really," she admitted.

"I was wondering if you were free Friday evening. We could at least look it over," he grinned at her.

"Uh... Rick, I already have a boyfriend." Her face flushed.

"Well, I won't make a pass at you," he tried to hold back a smile.  "Unless you want me to, of course Tami will be there to chaperone us. So we'll have to find some way to get rid of her like plating a germ in her food so she comes down with a cold and is unable to make it.  Then it would be just the two of us, you and me, and screw that boyfriend of yours.

A small grin crossed her face. "Sounds like a plan."

I'm Too Sexy (Outtake)

Sally walked through the living room and down the short hallway where she knocked on the door that used to lead to Daniel's room, the door opened slightly at the weight of her hand.  Peeking in she saw the flesh of Rick's tan back and noticed as small circular tattoo on his left shoulder blade before it was covered with a shirt.

"Just a minute," she heard Rick call out.

"It's me," she called back to him. Then added, "Sally."

"Oh." Suddenly the boombox that was playing soft music in his room was blaring I'm Too Sexy by Right Fred Said and he came through the door, dancing provocatively. "I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt, So sexy it huurts..." He peeled it off.

Sally began to laugh, as he began to dirty dance closer, and she joined in.

CUT!

"I'm too sexy for your body, I'm too sexy for your body... the way we're disco dancing!"

CUT!

The other girls ran in and began to dance and sing along.

"I'm a model you know what I mean... And I do my little turn on the catwalk... on the catwalk, yeah, I do my little thing on the catwalk."

CUT!

Plan Worked (Outtake)

Sally walked through the living room and down the short hallway where she knocked on the door that used to lead to Daniel's room, the door opened slightly at the weight of her hand.  Peeking in she saw the flesh of Rick's tan back and noticed as small circular tattoo on his left shoulder blade before it was covered with a shirt.

"Just a minute," she heard Rick call out.

"It's me," she called back to him. Then added, "Sally."

"Oh, hey?" his voice came back through the door as she heard some rustling.  "Did you get that email from Tami?"

"Uh... no.  I haven't checked since noon."

"She's sick and won't be able to make it tonight."

"So I guess your plan worked?"

CUT

They both began to laugh.
